Novartis
Cambridge, MA
USA
New construction of 2 buildings to comprise a 700,000 sf extention of the exisiting Novartis Cambridge Campus. Designed in colaboration with Toshico Mori and Maya Lin, Cannon Design is the Architect of Record.
I was involved in a number of capacities ranging from working with the user groups to finalize the Vivarium configuration, creating lab test-fit studies in conjunction with the issuance of the Core & Shell package, and finally developing the interior fit-out while the Core, Shell and vivarium were under construction.

Centre Hospitalier de l'Universite de Montreal (CHUM)
Montreal, Quebec
Canada
New hospital complex for Le Centre hospitalier de l’Universite de Montreal (CHUM), a prominent teaching hospital, totaling 2.5 million sf. This Public-Private Partnership initiative will be the largest P3 project in North America to date.
The program promotes an active street life by harmonizing with the neighborhood context,
re-establishing a link with old Montreal’s historic quarter, and thoughtfully incorporating heritage buildings. A large underground parking component, integration with the subway system, plentiful open space, and LEED Silver design standards further improve convenience and quality of life for patients, physicians, and staff.

Koc University -
Health Campus
Istanbul
Turkey
Koc University’s new Health Sciences Campus unites the Koc Foundation’s core mission of advancing healthcare, education, and culture with a state-of-the-art, hands-on facility for learning, teaching, and research—a medical community that fosters communication and collaboration among faculty and students. The 1.6million sf complex is a complete living-working-learning environment, with a 250-bed teaching hospital, a medical school with extensive research facilities, a nursing school, housing for students and faculty, and social and sports facilities.
The inital design for Koc University project was conducted during an intensive 3 day design charrette, in which I was a participant creating massing studies and design strategies. Following the charrette, I collaborated on the design for the Intensive Care Unit.

Yale New Haven Hospital
North Haven, CT
USA
Inital phase of a satellite campus expansion for Yale New Haven Hospital. The existing building, formerly a telephone office, was converted to a medical office building with a ground floor Urgent Care facility and Imaging suite. The upper 3 levels were comprised of outpatient care facilities.
Studies were also conducted to determine the site's potential for future expantion to create a new campus with In-patient bed floors, Surgery suites, and a Wellness Center. I created the design for the Urgent Care unit, Medical Office suites, and participated in the programmatical studies.

Anna Jaques Hospital
Newburyport, MA
USA
This $15 million project upgraded and expanded Anna Jaques Hospital to better serve patients, staff and visitors.
The heart of the project was the renovation and expansion of an existing third-floor unit to create 18 single-bed rooms, and the consolidation of Anna Jaques’ energy plant operations and materials receiving into a single building. The new nursing unit expands out to a roof terrace and lounge area.
I modeled & designed the nurse station & way-finding details and modeled the In-patient bedrooms for client presentation and review.

Massachusetts General Hospital
Psychiatric Outpatient Department
Boston, MA
USA
Renovation of the 8th floor of the Wang building in Mass General's main Boston campus to create a new waiting area for the Psychiatric outpatient suite and 4 additional exam/office session rooms.
As project manager, I met with the client and user groups to develop programatical requirements, developed the design and created the construction document set. During construction, I visited the site and coordinated with the contractor through punchlisting.
